Thanks for sharing this. I have had a quick play running the Q into an Edirol UM-1 to Intel Mac running Ableton. Used the Q to control Korg MS20 plugin, Swarplug sitar and tampura and some Ableton synths. It is working well although I have only had a brief explore. It certainly fixes some of those frustrating anomalies of Suzuki's weird MIDI implementation on the Q so thanks. I'll dig around some more when I have time and let you know how it goes.
